When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 And when they reached the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the waters, being free. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 Then they found one from among Our servants whom We had granted mercy from Us and whom We had taught knowledge from Ourselves. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said: "Well, if you follow me, do not ask me concerning anything until I myself mention it to you." 70
