The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
