The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
