We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
