The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
