Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
