And indeed We gave Moosa the Book, hence there was discord regarding it; and were it not for a Word that had been previously passed from your Lord, the matter would have immediately been decided regarding them; and indeed they are in an intriguing doubt concerning it. 110 Indeed, your Lord will pay each one of them in full for their deeds. He is aware of the things they do. 111 Pursue, then, the right course, as thou hast been bidden [by God,] together with all who, with thee, have turned unto Him; and let none of you behave in an overweening manner: for, verily, He sees all that you do. 112 And incline not to those who do wrong, or the Fire will seize you; and ye have no protectors other than Allah, nor shall ye be helped. 113 And perform the prayer at the two ends of the day and nigh of the night; surely the good deeds will drive away the evil deeds. That is a remembrance unto the mindful. 114 And be thou patient; God will not leave to waste the wage of the good-doers. 115 Why were there no people of understanding among those people of the destroyed towns of the past except for a few, whom we saved from destruction, to prevent people from committing evil in the land? The unjust among them indulged in worldly pleasures and so became guilty. 116 And your Lord would never destroy the towns wrongfully, while their people were right-doers. 117 Had your Lord wanted, He would have made all people one united nation. They still have different beliefs 118 except those on whom your Lord shows mercy. For this end He has created them. The Word of your Lord shall be perfectly completed: 'I shall fill Gehenna (Hell) with jinn and people, all together' 119 And all we relate to you of the accounts of the apostles is to strengthen your heart therewith; and in this has come to you the truth and an admonition, and a reminder to the believers. 120 Say to those who do not believe: "Do what ever ye can: We shall do our part; 121 “And wait – we too are waiting.” 122 And Allah's is the unseen in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is returned the whole of the affair; therefore serve Him and rely on Him, and your Lord is not heedless of what you do. 123
