۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say: Whatever reward I have asked of you, that is only for yourselves; my reward is only with Allah, and He is a witness of all things. 47 Proclaim, “Indeed my Lord sends down the truth; the All Knowing of all the hidden.” 48 Say: 'Truth has come. Falsehood has vanished and shall return no more.' 49 Proclaim, “If I stray, I stray only for my own harm; and if I attain guidance, it is because of what my Lord has sent down to me; indeed He is All Hearing, Close.” 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 and say: 'We believe in it' But how can they reach from a place that is distant, 52 And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away. 53 And a barrier is set between them and that they desire, as was done with the likes of them aforetime; they were in doubt disquieting. 54
