۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
