Indeed, Abraham was a [comprehensive] leader, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah. 120 Thankful for His bounties; He chose him and He guided him unto a straight path. 121 And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. 122 Then We revealed to you, [O Muhammad], to follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of those who associate with Allah. 123 The Sabbath was only appointed for those who were at variance thereon; surely thy Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection, touching their differences. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 If you have to retaliate, do so to the extent you have been injured; but if you forbear it is best for those who bear with fortitude. 126 Be patient; yet your patience is only by the help of Allah. Do not grieve for them (the unbelievers), nor distress yourself because of their devising. 127 Surely Allah is with those who guard (against evil) and those who do good (to others). 128
