۞ And Allah has said: Take not two gods, He is only one Allah; so of Me alone should you be afraid. 51 And His is all that is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him [alone] obedience is always due: will you, then, pay reverence to aught but Him? 52 And whatever favor is (bestowed) on you it is from Allah; then when evil afflicts you, to Him do you cry for aid. 53 Then, when He removes the affliction from you, lo, a party of you assign associates to their Lord, 54 So (as a result of that) they deny (with ungratefulness) that (Allah's Favours) which We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy yourselves (your short stay), but you will come to know (with regrets). 55 And they set apart for what they do not know a portion of what We have given them. By Allah, you shall most certainly be questioned about that which you forged. 56 They ascribe daughters to God, God is too Exalted to have daughters, but they can have whatever they want. 57 When the birth of a girl is announced to any of them, his face darkens and he is filled with gloom. 58 Because of the evil of the good news he hides himself from people, (pondering) whether he will keep her and be humiliated, or trample her into the dust. Evil is their judgement! 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
