The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear God? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I seek of you no reward. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 164 Do you approach males among the worlds 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. 168 My Lord! deliver me and my household from that which they work. 169 So We saved him and all his people, 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 Then We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain. So ill was the rain on those warned? 173 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 174 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 175
