Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! 2 The grand night is better than a thousand months. 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 Peace it is, till the rising of dawn. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
