Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 high above? 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
