The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the pages are made public 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 when Paradise is brought close: 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 The closing night, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 The one who is obeyed, and trustworthy. (Other angels obey angel Jibreel). 21 Your companion is not mad. 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Then where are you going? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
