The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
