Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 when heaven shall be split 9 So like golden camels." 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 Till a limit known? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead. 26 In what other lore after this will they then believe? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 And those that revive by quickening, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 And when the time comes for messengers -- 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
