The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
