Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
