The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In extended columns. 9

Almighty God's Truth.
