It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will say: 'Allah' Say: 'Will you not be cautious' 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
