And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
