Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

INDEED, We sent forth Noah unto his people, and he said: "O my people! Worship God alone: you have no deity other than Him. Verily, I fear lest suffering befall you on an awesome Day!" 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 Said he, 'My people, there is no error in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being.' 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 "Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, that he may warn you, so that you may fear Allah and that you may receive (His) Mercy?" 63 They accused him of telling lies. So We saved him and his companions in an ark and drowned those who called Our revelations mere lies. They were, no doubt, a blind people. 64
