The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
