The life of this world is nothing but sport and a diversion. It is the life of the Hereafter which is the only true life, if they but knew it. 64 And so, when they embark on a ship [and find themselves in danger,] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone; but as soon as He has brought them safe ashore, they [begin to] ascribe to imaginary powers a share in His divinity: 65 So that they will deny what We have granted them, and they will enjoy themselves. But they are going to know. 66 Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a sanctuary secure, and that men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in Batil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allah), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah? 67 And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith? 68 We shall certainly guide those who strive for Our cause to Our path. God is certainly with the righteous ones. 69
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Spider (Al-Ankaboot). Sent down in Mecca after The Romans (Al-Room) before The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
