The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
