Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
