Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a straight path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
