Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
