The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
