Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 who show off, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
