Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
