Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
