The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 And when the stars darken, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 When the oceans boil over with a swell; 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 for what crime she was slain, 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when Hellfire is set ablaze 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 that hide, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 And he is not avid of the Unseen. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 Then where are you going? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
