Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
