▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
