The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
