As for those who, after persecution, migrated from their homes for the cause of God, We will provide them with a goodly abode in this life: but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they only knew it. 41 They are the ones who are steadfast and put their trust in their Lord. 42 And before thee also the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. 43 [and they will tell you that their prophets, too, were but mortal men whom We had endowed] with all evidence of the truth and with books of divine wisdom. And upon thee [too] have We bestowed from on high this reminder, so that thou might make clear unto mankind all that has ever been thus bestowed upon them, and that they might take thought. 44 Do those who devise evil plans feel secure that God will not make them sink into the land, or that a punishment will not come upon them from where they least expect? 45 Or that He may not seize them in the course of their journeys, then shall they not escape; 46 Are they confident that God will not slowly destroy them? Your Lord is Compassionate and All-merciful. 47 Have they not observed the things God has created, casting their shadows right and left, prostrating themselves before God in all humility? 48 And to Allah prostate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the live moving creatures and the angels, and they are not proud [i.e. they worship their Lord (Allah) with humility]. 49 They fear their Lord above them and do that which they are commanded. ۩ 50
