Say, "Lord, if you will afflict them with punishment, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
