Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
