Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
