Have you not considered (the work of) your Lord, how He extends the shade? And if He had pleased He would certainly have made it stationary; then We have made the sun an indication of it 45 thereafter We seize it to Ourselves, drawing it gently. 46 And it is Allah Who has ordained the night as a garment for you, and the sleep as a repose of death, and the day as the time of return to life. 47 It is He who sends the winds with auspicious news in advance of His benevolence; and We send pure water down from the sky 48 That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created,- cattle and men in great numbers. 49 We have indeed turned it about amongst them, so that they may remember; yet most men refuse all but unbelief. 50 And if We had pleased We would certainly have raised a warner in every town. 51 So obey not the unbelievers, but struggle with them thereby mightily. 52 ۞ And it is He, Who has let loose the two seas, one palatable and sweet, the other bitter and saltish, and there is a partition between them, which is an insurmountable barrier. 53 And it is He, Who created man from water: then from him He caused two kinds of kindred, by blood and by marriage: your Lord is AI I-Powerful. 54 Yet they worship besides God that which can neither benefit them nor harm them. One who denies the truth is a helper [of evil] against his Lord. 55 We did not send you but as a bearer of glad tidings and as a warner. 56 Say: I do not ask you aught in return except that he who will, may take the way to his Lord. 57 Put thy trust in the Living God, the Undying, and proclaim His praise. Sufficiently is He aware of His servants sins 58 who created the heavens and the earth, and what between them is, in six days, then sat Himself upon the Throne, the All-compassionate: ask any informed of Him! 59 When it is said to them. "Prostrate yourselves before the Merciful," they retort, "What is the Merciful? Would you have us prostrate ourselves before whomsoever you will?" And this invitation only helps to increase their hatred all the more. ۩ 60
