Al-A 'araaf 23 of 24
And those who cry lies to Our signs We will draw them on little by little whence they know not; 182 and I respite them, My stratagem is firm. 183 Reflect they not that in their companion there is no madness! he is naught but a manifest warner. 184 Do they not look in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all things that Allah has created, and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe? 185 Those whom Allah sendeth astray, there is no guide for them. He leaveth them to wander blindly on in their contumacy. 186 They ask thee concerning the Hour, when will its coming be? Say thou: knowledge thereof is with my Lord only: none shall disclose it at its time but He; heavy it is in the heavens and the earth; it shall not come upon you except on a sudden. They ask thee as though thou wert familiar therewith. Say thou: knowledge thereof is with Allah only; but most of men know not. 187 Say, "I hold not for myself [the power of] benefit or harm, except what Allah has willed. And if I knew the unseen, I could have acquired much wealth, and no harm would have touched me. I am not except a warner and a bringer of good tidings to a people who believe." 188
