T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ O MAN! 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. 4 the All Merciful settled on the throne. 5 all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil. 6 Whether you speak aloud [or in a low voice], He hears all, for He knows your secrets and what is even more hidden. 7 God is the only Lord and to Him belong all the exalted Names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 When he reached it, he was called: 'O Moses, 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour. 15 So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it. 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So Moosa put it down – thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. 20 He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." 24
