In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ TA HA. 1 We have not sent down the Koran to you for you to be tired, 2 Except as a reminder for one who fears. 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud – so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. 7 Allah, there is no god except He. To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family: "Hold on! I have just perceived a fire; perhaps I will bring a brand from it for you, or I will find some guidance at the fire about the way to follow." 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 The Hour of Resurrection is coming. I have willed to keep the time of its coming hidden so that everyone may be recompensed in accordance with his effort. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Musa! 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 But We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 Go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious." 24

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
