The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
