Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 And then drew lots and was of those rejected; 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Did He (then) choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will you not then mind? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 So you and your deities 161 can lure away from God any 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 What though they would say, 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 assuredly they shall be helped, 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 and peace be upon the Messengers, 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
