And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 [And finally We told him:] "Now take in thy hand a small bunch of grass, and strike therewith, and thou wilt not break thine oath!" for, verily, We found him full of patience in adversity: how excellent a servant [of Ours,] who, behold, would always turn unto Us! 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 Such is their noble story. The pious ones will certainly have the best place to return. 49 the Gardens of Eden whose gates shall be open to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
