Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
