The 'Aad belied the sent ones. 123 When their brother Hood said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 124 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 125 Fear Allah and obey me. 126 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 127 “What! You build a structure on every height, to laugh at the passers-by?” 128 And take ye for yourselves castles that haply ye may abide. 129 and when you strike you strike like tyrants? 130 So be fearful of God and follow me. 131 Have fear of Him Who has provided you with all the (good) things you know; 132 He has given you cattle, children, 133 "And Gardens and Springs. 134 Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day' 135 They replied: 'It is the same to us whether you admonish or whether you are not one of the admonishers. 136 This is just a habit of antiquated people. 137 and we shall never be punished' 138 In this there is evidence (of the Truth), yet most of them do not have any faith. 139 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 140
